ARTIST: Susanne Nyberg, TITLE: Castle Hot Springs CreekARTIST: Susanne Nyberg, TITLE: Castle Hot Springs Creek

Scottsdale ArtWalk began in the mid-‘70s as a fun, casual walkaroundbetween a cool concentration of impressive art galleries. And so it is today. On Thursday, Oct. 18, the 38th Anniversary ArtWalk kicks off another great season of art admiring and people watching along Main Street and Marshall Way. These days there are “artwalks” everywhere, but this is “America’s Original ArtWalk.”

LightsUp

Musicians sought for online auditions

The call’s going out from Southwest Arts & Music (SAM) for proposals, bios and samples from solo performers, duos and others willing to perform on street corners and artistic alcoves. Folk, pop, jazz, classical, funk, world…you name it, there’s usually a niche for it. SAM also produces its Soliloquies® songwriter showcase at ArtWalk and other Valley locations. Allow us to determine whether your act meets our criteria... visit SouthwestArtsMusic.com, click “Events” and then see contacting and submission procedures under “Scottsdale Street Performer Program.”

when it’s difference now that looks alike?”
